The Project Management Skills Certified Professional (PMSCP™) Certification

As the expert in fields such as leadership, communication, negotiation and critical thinking, a certified PMSCP™ possesses the knowledge and training to lead their organizations towards improving team function and project completion.
The PM Skills® PMSCP™ certification includes 14 courses that are completely online and self-paced, which provides the most flexibility in completing the curriculum. No prerequisites are required for the PM Skills® courses. The learner must complete all 14 courses before taking the PMSCP™ certification exam.
Course Certification Requirements
Upon successfully completing these courses and the final PMSCP™ certification exam, you will be awarded the PM Skills® PMSCP™ certification. A course will be considered complete when the participant has done all assignments, exercises, review checkpoints, and has received at least a 70% on the course final exam.
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Interpersonal Skills for Project Leaders course and exam*
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Communication course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Conflict Management course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Negotiation course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Critical Thinking and Decision-Making course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Leadership course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Team Development course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Interaction and Engagement course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Change Management course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Analysis and Problem-Solving course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Embracing Risk and Uncertainty course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Tailoring and Adaptability course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Planning and Project Design course and exam
- Successful completion of PM Skills® Expanding Focus and Alignment course and exam
- Successful completion of PMSCP™ Certification Exam
*It is recommended that learners complete the Interpersonal Skills for Project Leaders course prior to beginning the others.
Upon completing these requirements, you will be awarded the PM Skills® PMSCP™ Certification. Certification from PM Skills® includes a Digital Badge and certificate. All PM Skills® courses carry Project Management Institute Professional Development Units (PDUs).
PMSCP™ Certification Exam
Upon successful completion of the PM Skills® courses, students will be required to achieve a passing mark of 70% or higher on the PMSCP™ exam. The exam consists of 200 questions covering material from the 14 PM Skills® courses. The following highlights the exam.
- Along with all 14 PM Skills® courses, the PMSCP™ exam is included in the cost of the course bundle. Students will have 3 attempts to successfully pass the exam (70% or higher).
- The exam is administered online. Students will need to have an active internet connection to complete the exam.
- The exam consists of 200 questions. The questions are randomly selected and cover material from all 14 PM Skills® courses.
- Students have a maximum of 2 hours to complete the exam.
- Once the exam is complete, the student will be notified immediately if they passed the exam. Students will not have access to their answers; this information is kept confidential.
- If a student does not pass the PMSCP™ exam with a 70% or higher in their first 3 attempts, they can have 3 more attempts for a small retake fee. Please email support@mindedge.com for more information.
Maintaining the PMSCP™ Certification
Every five years, certified PMSCP™ will be required to successfully complete a PM Skills® refresher course and the PMSCP™ re-certification exam to maintain their certification. Please note that only actively certified PMSCP™ are permitted to display the badge and credentials.
